Very interesting concept, I loved the low-res graphics, to be honest, in the beginning, I wasn't sure what to do, but that made it interesting.
Also, the glowing things in the distance were quite effective, I always found something, I wanted to take a closer look at, and the town is surprisingly well designed, there are bunch of different stuff, I especially liked the house on the mountain.
Overall, great horror game!

I reeeeeeeally liked your game! I didn´t see the monster at first so I was kind of confused to see blood on the floor and everything. I knew from the start that something could be foul but when I saw the monster I  was shocked for a moment!

I liked the mechanics but unfortunately I sometimes could not go to all the houses. So there was now purple light even if I haven´t gone there before. Was that part of the game or a bug?

Great game! Good job! :D

The purple light just means the candy zone is still active and you must stand in it long enough to collect it. We could do more to relay that information to the player, however. Thanks for playing our game!

Interesting game, unfortunately, didn't have a lot of time to play it (also there may be a few bugs) but overall a great game (maybe have better instructions or something like that):

We definitely want to make things more clear and video gamey in a post-jam update. Thanks for playing our game!

Nice game, I liked the main mechanic. How did you pull off the retro astetic? AND THIS WAS DONE BY ONE MAN. Amazing. If you can, check out our game

We were a team of five with some extra help here and there, actually. For the retro look we only used 32x32 textures (with a few exceptions), kept objects under a specific poly count, and applied a render texture to keep the resolution low and sharp. I’ll check your game out as well, thanks for the kind comment!
